Chapter 13 – The Brain
When stimulated, or “stepped up” to a high rate of vibration, the mind becomes more receptive to the vibration of
thought which reaches it through the ether from outside sources. This “stepping up” process takes place through
the positive emotions, or the negative emotions. Through the emotions, the vibrations of thought may be increased.
Vibrations of an exceedingly high rate are the only vibrations picked up and carried, by the ether, from one brain
to another. Thought is energy travelling at an exceedingly high rate of vibration. Thought, which has been modified
or “stepped up” by any of the major emotions, vibrates at a much higher rate than ordinary thought, and it is this
type of thought which passes from one brain to another, through the broadcasting machinery of the human brain.
But MOST people will let well meaning Family members, Friends, News Media, or a Religious
Leader program their Mind when Listening to them.
Every person is capable of Original Thought when they STOP listening to all the Nay Sayers.
If you do NOT think you are capable and worthy, you will NOT do what it takes to succeed. You
will quit at the first sign of trouble or failure“
If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.” – Nikola Tesla.

Chapter 13, 6/2/2025
The Brain!
From The Book, Think And Grow Rich!
By Napoleon Hill,
The Greatest Forces Are Intangible!
More than twenty years ago, the author, working in
conjunction with the late Dr. Alexander Graham Bell,
and Dr. Elmer R. Gates, observed that every human brain
is both a broadcasting and receiving station for the
vibration of thought.
When stimulated, or “stepped up” to a high rate of
vibration, the mind becomes more receptive to the
vibration of thought which reaches it through the ether
from outside sources. This “stepping up” process takes
place through the positive emotions, or the negative
emotions. (Napoleon Hill)
Our thoughts are Intangible!
A few years ago I had a desire to find out what’s missing
in my life, I am getting older my physical body not going
to last forever. Those were my thoughts a few years ago!
I remember thinking about the things I could not see and
touch, I made a Decision I was not going to blow anything
off I did not understand, I want to learn. Positive energy,
negative energy, personality’s, I want to bring out the best
within myself, I want to bring out the talents the
Good Lord gave me.
Looking back I realize that my mind was at a high Vibration
and that is the reason I became part of this Master Mind.
When it comes to self-development, nothing has helped
me more than this Think And Grow Rich Master Mind!
“The intelligent man is one who has successfully fulfilled many accomplishments, and is yet willing to learn more.” — Ed Parker.
The bottom line is to put the brain to excellent use by acting on ideas. No different than baking a cake. I don’t know the ingredients off hand but if I follow the recepie for Duncan Hines Chocolate Cake I could make one. Same with producing a podcast and writing a book. Follow them and act on ideas. Remember this opportunity doesn’t go away, its just goes to the ones who act right away!
I must transmit positive thoughts, letting all others go. We all pick up on the sense impressions thrown our way by those who are around us.
Listening to Napoleon today I had a lightbulb moment after having read the chapter many times. Our own faith in many areas sends our events to the universe.
A positive person will believe there is enough money, believe the vacation is paid in full and commit to the vacation even when funds are low Own own belief in money is what plays out in our lives.
A destructive belief will make it scarce like hill suggests with a maden. So I must keep my beliefs strong and positive. The same with my health, my business every area of my life.
Thank you so much to my amazing friends from mentoring for free for your friendship whilst I grew to become more. Thank you so much to my amazing mentor for Life Ken klemm for your mentoring and friendship. “You can’t change who you are, but you can change what you have in
your head, you can refresh what you’re thinking about, you can put
some fresh air in your brain.” Ernesto Bertarelli
Swami Vivekananda has stated “Take up one idea. Make that one idea your
life – think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves,
every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave
every other idea alone. This is the way to success.”
When I read this quote by Swami Vivekanada I was reminded of when
I heard Michael say he sold his boat so he could put all his concentration
on building his business and I am sure he did more than just sell
his boat but that story just stuck in my brain.
A quote from Deepak Chopra states “Our minds influence the key activity
of the brain, which then influences everything; perception, cognition,
thoughts and feelings, personal relationships; they’re all a projection of you.”
So it we think the right thoughts we are training our brain and if
we train it right we will project our new us to the people we come
in contact with.
Jay S. Walker has stated “All of imagination – everything that we think,
we feel, we sense – comes through the human brain. And once we create
new patterns in this brain, once we shape the brain in a new way, it
never returns to its original shape.”
A quote by Mogan Housel “Money [is] ‘the greatest show on earth’
because of its ability to reveal things about people’s character
and values. How people invest their money tends to be hidden from
view. But how they spend is far more visible, so what it shows
about who you are can be even more insightful.”
According to Ambrose Beirce “Brain: an apparatus with which we
think we think.”
CHAPTER 13
THE BRAIN
A BROADCASTING AND RECEIVING STATION FOR THOUGHT
The Twelfth Step toward Riches
The human brain significantly shapes business decisions by influencing how individuals process information, assess risks, and respond to emotions.
Key influences include:
1. Emotions such as fear and excitement can override rational thought, influencing consumer behaviour and leaders’ risk perceptions.
2. The brain relies on mental shortcuts, leading to biases such as anchoring bias (overreliance on initial information) and availability bias (judging based on readily available information).
3. Positive experiences activate reward centres, motivating behaviours that influence decisions, like promotions or desired purchases.
4. People fear losses more than they value gains, leading to risk-averse behaviours in high-reward but risky ventures.
5. The brain’s consideration of social cues impacts responses to peer pressure in business contexts.
Businesses can leverage brain science through neuromarketing (the study of how the brain responds to marketing stimuli), design thinking, and leadership training to enhance strategies and outcomes by understanding these cognitive influences.
